Mighty Wilds
Mighty Wilds is a 3 day home education and outdoor learning group for 4 - 8 year olds. Divided into two stage groups (rather than age groups), Mini Mighties and Mega Mighties, Mighty Wilds is headed up by experienced Primary and Alternative Education leader Robyn Brock. Alternative education leader Kristina Georgiou leads permaculture gardening, music, foraging, cooking and storytelling with project teaching by visiting experts. Mighty Wilds has its own beautiful wooden cabin on wheels in the same nature garden where Tiny Wilds is based.
With access to the extraordinary wild water meadows, ancient woodland, streams and river, as well as the circle barn and craft loft at Beden, Sampford Spiney, the children flourish in a wild and free environment. As well as a myriad of creative projects, we will also be covering part of the early years and key stage 1 learning, be it in a creative, nature and play based way.
Each term we work with a visiting expert, so children can learn with and through a new medium.
This term the children are lucky enough to be doing weaving with the very talented Lily Waugh
Sessions cost £36 per 6hr day, paid in advance per half term.
